If you're a fan of Advance Wars, or you're just looking for a meatier experience than the likes of Clash of Clans have to offer, then you're in for a treat. This isn't a softening of the strategy genre for mobile, it's just a reshaping of it, and it works wonderfully well. Well there's a rich vein of slightly bonkers humour running through the game as well, and the addition of multiplayer means you can always jump in and have a scrap even if you've finished the single player. The scenarios you're pitted against get more challenging the deeper you get into the game, and anyone worried about the dumbing down of the genre for a mobile audience will be pleasantly surprised. Weight of numbers is rarely enough to win the day - instead you need to think about the position of your troops and support units, and figure out ways to protect your army while still taking out your foes.
